Put on your accounting hat, sharpen a no.2 pencil and get out the abacus. This is where you will need to keep a close eye if you want to ensure your team doesn’t fall into financial ruin. Here you will find detailed stats on your weekly income and expenditures. There is a current balance overview and you can browse balances from past weeks.

Income, expenditures and balance are recorded in real life weeks. It is possible that in preparing for a single race your expenditures will appear in two different weeks.

Contents

Income

Weekly income is divided into sponsor income, race income, bonuses and other. Sponsor income includes win, points, race and signup bonuses. Race income includes fixed race income, as well as qualification and race result bonuses. The bonuses category is for championship, cup and team prizes at the end of the season.

Below the four income categories is a list of every item including the exact date and time it was paid. If you click one of the weekly income types, those items in the weekly income details are highlighted for you.

Expenditures

Weekly expenditure is divided into staff salaries, testing, factory, suppliers, fines, driving laps and other expenditures. Staff salaries include driver, designer and commerce director salaries, the salaries of your employees (mechanics, engineers and pit crew), as well as your driver's points and/or win bonuses for good race results. Testing expenses appear if you choose to test, and supplier expenses are the engine, gearbox and tyres costs you must pay every race. Factory expenses includes all parts produced and/or purchased. Currently, the fines and driving laps categories are not used.

Below the seven expenditure categories is a list of every item including the exact date and time it was paid. If you click one of the weekly expenditure types, those items in the weekly expenditure details are highlighted for you.

Balance

This is a breakdown of your balance for the current season. Note that the average per race is the difference between the current and starting balance divided by the number of races that have taken place so far. This means that anything you have earned (sponsor signing bonuses) or spent (testing, factory, etc.) since the last race will make the season end forecast inaccurate.

Previous seasons' balances are only displayed graphically.

Weekly Balances

You can access details of the previous 11 weeks from this list. A summary of the net profit or loss for each week appears in reverse chronological order, and you can click the range of dates to see the full income and expenditure details for that week.
