The F1TIME forums are intended to be a friendly and helpful place, where you can chat, ask questions, build up rivalries with group-mates and generally have a good time. Before posting on the forums you should read the forum rules.

Adding forums
Forum overview
Bugs
This is where you need to go if you discover any bugs, glitches or irregularities in the game. There are three things you need to consider when posting; firstly, make sure to have have quick check through the other posts, to make sure your problem hasn't already been disussed. Secondly, try to keep your post as clear and consise as possible, and finally, try to keep any off topic dicussion to an absolute minimum.

It should also be noted that it is the responsibilty of everyone who plays the game to report any bugs they discover, and anyone found to be exploiting a bug will be dealt with severly. |
General Talks
General talks is for any discussion relating to F1 Time which doesn't really fit into any of the other catatgories. Major news relating to the game is also often posted here as well as the info centre so it is worth checking regularly in order to keep up to date.
Global
The Global Forum should be used for any topic that does not relate to F1 Time. Whether it be the latest F1 race or news, one of the many forum games that various F1 Timers run, or anything else, this is where it goes.
Newbie
This is the place to go if you are having any trouble getting to grips with the game. It's always worth having a look through the wiki first to see if your question has already been answered, but if not, there are always plenty of experienced F1 Timers ready to lend a hand to those in need.
Strategy
The strategy forum is one of the more underused areas of the forum. It can be used for discussing any element of strategy relating to the game, from how best to manage your finances, to maximising your performance in adverse weather conditions or where to use your design hours.

Please remember that the forum rules forbid the discussion of exact game data, so do not either supply it, or request it. Try to keep any discussion involving game data as general as possible. |
Suggestions
Do you have a great idea on how to improve the game? This is where to post it. Try to keep your ideas as simple and concise as possible, nobody wants to read a thesis; and if your idea can't be expressed in less than a few paragraphs, the chances are it will be very difficult to code into the game. You should also be prepared to defend your idea, as everyone may not agree with you.
Testing
The testing forum is intended as an area to test forum functionality; rather than a place to discuss testing your car, which would be better suited to either the strategy or newbie forums, depending on the nature of the discussion. This forum is used as a place to practice creating polls, writing in colour, adding images or whatever takes your fancy, without clogging up other areas of the forum.

Using the forums
Making a poll
When you are the creator of a new thread, or an Admin, you can add a poll to your thread. To add a poll:
- Click the New Topic link in the appropriate section to create a new thread
- Write your post and click submit
- Open the thread again
- Click on the
poll icon above your first post
- Add your question in the top box and the answers, one per line, in the big box
- Set a start and end date. This is important, if your end date is not set or occurs before the current date the poll will not work.
