In the staff section, you can find information about your mechanics, engineers, and pit crew. Here you can hire new staff, extend their contracts, and view their salaries and skill level.

Hiring staff and renewing contracts
Hiring
| Hiring a new staff member costs $10,000 per race plus an initial signing bonus of $25,000 each. Initially new hires will be for a 3 race contract. You can hire up to 10 engineers, 10 mechanics, and a total of 20 pit crew. |

Extending
| If the remaining contract for a staff member is 3 races or less, you can extend their contract by 10 races. This, however, will increase that staff member's salary per race by the percentage shown, starting immediately. Staff members whose contracts are not renewed before their last race with a team will leave and the manager will have to hire a new staff member to replace them. |

Mechanics
Mechanics build and repair your race car. The mechanic's hours determine how many hours of repair you have. Mechanics start with one working hour each, but once their skill reaches 101, they gain an additional hour.
Engineers
Engineers contribute to the design of your car. The engineering hours are added to your designers skill for the total hours you can assign to car design. Engineers start with one working hour each, but once their skill reaches 101, they gain an additional hour.
Pit Crew
The pit crew are responsible for getting your car in and out of the pits as fast as possible. Pit Crew will reach a maximum of 100 skill and not progress any further.

A small pit crew will not be able to service your car very fast, no matter how skilled they are. |
Negative balance restrictions
If your balance is negative, you cannot extend a contract of a staff member nor train staff, but you can hire new staff members.
