The forums are intended to be a friendly and helpful place, where you can chat, ask questions, build up healthy rivalries with group-mates, and generally have a good time. We at F1TIME want to ensure that they remain a fun place to be, therefore there need to be a few rules which all players must adhere to.

Failure to obey the forum rules will at the very least result in the post being deleted, but could result in the offender being banned from the forums or even deleted from the game.

Behaviour

• Respect your fellow players, do not provoke arguments and do not react. Instead, contact an Admin/GM/Mod if you have an issue with another player. Light hearted banter is perfectly acceptable, but if it turns nasty then sanctions will be imposed.
• There will be no accusations of cheating on the forums, if you wish to complain about someone else's behaviour anywhere on the site, please mail one of our game staff members or press the report inappropriate post button (talk bubble).
• The decision of anyone in a Moderator position (or above) is final. Their actions must never be discussed on the forums. If you have an issue with the behaviour of any person in such a position then contact them directly through e-mail or personal mail within the game.
• Ignorance of a rule is never considered as an excuse, it is your own responsibility to ensure you have read and understood all rules. All rules above also extend to forum signatures.

Language

• There is a total ban on swearing in the forums, and that includes implied swearing, either by use of abbreviations, or by *. And when in doubt as to whether a word is swearing or not, the deciding factor is British attitudes to the word.
• Unless otherwise stated in the local rules for the relevant section of the forum, all posts must be in English.
• Text Speak is heavily discouraged and should be avoided.

Content

• No discussion of exact game data. General tips are acceptable, but try to avoid giving out specific information. This is intended to be learned through experience of the game.
• Religious and political discussions are not allowed anywhere on the forums.
• Advertising is not permitted, nor is discussion on illegal activity such as piracy, warez, cracks, etc.
• Smilies (emoticons) should be kept to a minimum in the more serious parts of the forum.

Starting new threads

• There are specifically defined areas for chatting, and areas for serious bug reports or suggestions. Please ensure you use the correct section of the forums when you post, and keep threads on topic.
• If you are starting a new thread please ensure it has a relevant title.
• The Bugs forum is for Bugs only and all topics are to be kept on topic. If you do not have anything serious to add do not post.
• The Newbie forum is for helping new users who have questions. If you can’t be helpful or provide serious suggestions please do not post. Any type of sarcasm, flaming or general lack of help will not be tolerated on the Newbie forum.

Signatures

• Text signatures must comply with the forum rules of what is acceptable and should be kept to a maximum of four lines.
• Graphic signatures are not allowed in the forums.
